Crawf vs Meek — Week 4

Matchup Preview · Week 4 · 2026 · Sep 30, 2026

Two 0-fer-3-feeling squads limp into Week 4 looking for someone else to blame, and this week they've got each other. Crawf dropped 131.5 in Week 3 and still lost to Chengy's 142.4, which stings even harder when you realize Kenyon Sadiq (25.5) and Jordan Love (25.5) both went off and it STILL wasn't enough. The real crime scene: Justin Jefferson posting a putrid 5.2 against an 18.9 projection. That's not a bad week, that's a no-show, and CeeDee Lamb (22.2) and Luther Burden III (19.8) doing the heavy lifting elsewhere just makes Jefferson's stat line look worse by comparison.

Meek's not in much better shape. Death Row put up 151.2 — a bigger number than Crawf's, mind you — and still lost to Devion's 168.9. Ja'Marr Chase (24.8) and Derrick Henry (21.9) carried the offense, Trey McBride chipped in 16.5, but Jalen Hurts cratering to 12.6 on a 23.5 projection left points on the table Meek desperately needed.

So who wins the "my studs outscored your studs" bowl? On paper Meek's front three (Chase, Henry, McBride) look scarier than anything Crawf trotted out last week, but if Jefferson snaps out of his funk and Sadiq/Love run it back, Crawf's ceiling is higher. My guess — purely a hunch, not a promise — is this one comes down to whichever bust rights the ship first, and I'll lean Crawf to sneak it out if Jefferson remembers he's Justin Jefferson.

Dez vs Chengy — Week 4

Matchup Preview · Week 4 · 2026 · Sep 30, 2026

Dez rolls into Week 4 fresh off a 128.2-187.5 beatdown at the hands of Marcus, and the tape tells a simple story: one man carried the boat. Jaxon Smith-Njigba torched everybody for 37.4, Javonte Williams chipped in 18.3, even the kicker Will Reichard (17.3) out-scored some starting receivers in this league. But the supporting cast no-showed, and the Eagles D/ST turning a 9.8 projection into a flat zero is the kind of gut-punch that turns a competitive week into a laugher. Dez needs more than JSN heroics to survive Week 4.

Chengy, meanwhile, is riding the good kind of chaos into this one — a 142.4-131.5 win over Crawf that somehow happened WITHOUT his big-ticket back. George Kittle (26.2) and Matthew Golden (23.0) did the heavy lifting, Davante Adams chipped in a tidy 22.7, and Patrick Mahomes quietly posted 19.9, but the real headline is De'Von Achane no-showing at 1.7 points on a 20.1 projection. A team that wins big while its RB2 face-plants is either lucky or has serious depth — probably both.

So here's the matchup: Dez needs JSN to go nuclear again just to keep pace, while Chengy is betting Achane was a one-week blip and not a trend. My gut (purely an opinion, folks) says Chengy's floor is scarier right now — when your bust still lets you win by double digits, that's a problem for the other side of the bracket. Give me Chengy in a moderately competitive one, with Dez's defense needing to show up for once to make it interesting.

Beav vs Marcus — Week 4

Matchup Preview · Week 4 · 2026 · Sep 30, 2026

Beav rolls into Week 4 nursing a hangover. Slauson Super Mall put up 103.9 in Week 3 and still got run over by Frost's 144.2, despite Kyren Williams doing his job with 21.8 and Tyler Warren chipping in 14.7. The real crime scene was Josh Allen — a guy projected for 27.9 who limped in with 17.5, and Amon-Ra St. Brown's quiet 11.9 didn't exactly save the day either. That's not a bad week, that's a bad week wearing a disguise.

Marcus, meanwhile, is playing a different sport right now. Jajajajahmyr dropped 187.5 on Dez behind an absolute video-game line: Jahmyr Gibbs went off for 41.4, Brock Bowers added 29.6, Lamar Jackson tossed in 24.4, and Jaylen Warren somehow chipped in 22.6 on top of all that. The only thing that didn't show up was the Patriots D/ST, goose-egging a projected 7.3 — but when your skill positions combine for that kind of carnage, nobody's losing sleep over the defense.

So here's the matchup: a offense that's rounding into form against one that just had its floor cave in. My completely biased, purely-for-fun prediction? Unless Josh Allen remembers he's Josh Allen, Marcus rides this wave right through Beav's building. Slauson Super Mall needs its stars to actually show up — Marcus just needs his to keep doing exactly what they did last week.

Frost vs Crock — Week 4

Matchup Preview · Week 4 · 2026 · Sep 30, 2026

Frost rolled into Week 4 on a legit statement win, torching Beav 144.2 to 103.9 behind Drake London's monster 30.4-point outing and Matthew Stafford tossing in 27.9 of his own, with the Vikings D/ST and Jordan Addison each chipping in a tidy 20.0. Only blemish: Trey Smack no-showed for a flat zero against a 9.2 projection, the one name on an otherwise stacked box score that Frost would like to forget.

Crock, meanwhile, survived a nail-biter — 156.0 to 155.8 over Manny — in a game that came down to the wire. Garrett Wilson exploded for 28.7, Harold Fannin Jr. added 24.1, Christian Watson chipped in 22.6, and Christian McCaffrey was steady at 21.6. But Jadarian Price cratered to 1.2 points on a 12.4 projection, a bust that nearly cost Crock the whole thing.

Head-to-head this rivalry sits at 8-7 in Frost's favor across 15 meetings, and on paper this one looks like fireworks — Frost's ceiling play (London, Stafford) versus Crock's four-headed scoring committee that somehow squeaked out a win despite a near-total bust at RB. My purely-for-fun prediction: whichever bust shows up again — Smack or Price — decides this game, and I'd lean toward betting on volume over boom, which nudges me to pick Crock in a tight one. But don't quote me on that when it blows up in my face.

Devion vs Manny — Week 4

Matchup Preview · Week 4 · 2026 · Sep 30, 2026

Devion rolls into Week 4 riding a 168.9-point demolition of Meek, and the headline act was Brock Purdy going nuclear for 39.3 — the kind of start-sit decision that makes a manager look like a genius for a week. Juwan Johnson (23.3) and a Jeremiyah Love/James Cook III tag-team (21.9 and 21.4) padded the margin nicely. The only sour note: Omarion Hampton no-showed with 5.6 points against a 15.5 projection, proof that even a blowout win has a bust lurking in the box score.

Manny, meanwhile, is stuck staring at the cruelest kind of loss — 155.8 points, which would win most weeks, but not this one, falling 156.0 to Crock by a spitting distance of 0.2. Bijan Robinson went off for 37.3 and Joe Burrow tossed in 28.6, with Chris Olave chipping 21.7 — that's a stacked top end that just got outdueled by two-tenths of a point. The gut-punch was Tetairoa McMillan cratering to 3.7 on a 14.7 projection, the exact kind of bust that turns a win into a "we'll get 'em next week."

Head-to-head, this series sits 5-4 in Devion's favor across nine meetings, and this is purely my gut talking — but a team fresh off a Purdy-fueled blowout feels dangerous walking into a matchup against a guy who just watched his studs put up a would-be-winning score and still lose. If McMillan and the Manny bust-luck carry over, Devion could make it six in the season series. If Bijan and Burrow show up again with even a league-average WR3, Manny turns the page fast. Book of opinions, not facts — but I know which sideline I'd rather be on right now.
