Head-to-head breakdown of every game on the slate.

Dez vs Crawf — Week 5

Matchup Preview · Week 5 · 2026 · Oct 7, 2026

Let's talk about Week 4, because both of these guys walked into their bye-adjacent slate and just started printing money. Dez's Mamba's dropped a jaw-dropping 172.6 on Chengy, powered by Javonte Williams going full breakaway artist for 31.3, Jared Goff tossing his way to 26.5, Malik Nabers hauling in 25.2, and Sam LaPorta chipping in 22.4. That's about as complete a beatdown as you'll see on a scoreboard — four guys all popping at once. The only hiccup was Parker Washington no-showing at 2.0 points on a 15.8 projection, proof that even a blowout week needs a punching bag.

Crawf's BELT BOYZ were no slouches either, grinding out 144.4 to take down Meek, and it was almost a one-man demolition — CeeDee Lamb went off for a ridiculous 43.3, with Emanuel Wilson tagging in for 27.0 and Trevor Lawrence quietly solid at 15.1. Luther Burden III added 11.4 off the bench role, but the real story was Kenyon Sadiq absolutely vanishing — a goose egg on a double-digit projection. When your TE1 scores zero and you still cruise to a win, that's a team riding its studs hard.

So here's the matchup: Dez's offense looked like a video-game cheat code with four separate 20-plus performances, while Crawf is leaning on Lamb going nuclear to cover for the quiet corners of his roster. Dez's floor-raisers (LaPorta, Nabers) carry questionable injury tags into this one, which could matter. My totally unqualified opinion? If Dez's skill guys stay healthy and repeat anywhere close to last week, Mamba's should edge this one — but Lamb's a snap away from single-handedly flipping any script, and this rivalry's dead even at 4-4 for a reason. Buckle up.

Beav vs Chengy — Week 5

Matchup Preview · Week 5 · 2026 · Oct 7, 2026

Two bad beats, two sets of excuses — Beav and Chengy both limp into Week 5 fresh off losses where their studs showed up and their supposed studs no-showed. Beav dropped 132.8 in Week 4 despite Kyren Williams going full monster-mode for 36.7, Carnell Tate chipping in 23.5, and Josh Allen doing Josh Allen things for 20.5 — but it still wasn't enough to catch Marcus's 167.5. The dagger: Saquon Barkley, projected for 14.9, turned in a ghostly 2.0 and left Beav's lineup bleeding points it desperately needed.

Chengy's sob story reads almost identical. Jonathan Taylor (22.7), Patrick Mahomes (21.0), Jameson Williams (18.2) and George Kittle (17.0) all pulled their weight, and it still added up to only 126.3 against Dez's 172.6. The real crime scene was Rashee Rice posting a flat 0.0 on a 15.3 projection — that's not a slump, that's a lineup landmine.

So who steadies the ship first? History says Chengy, who's throttled Beav 7-1 all-time in this rivalry, but recent form says both locker rooms are leaking confidence, not points-per-game. My completely unofficial, totally-opinion read: whichever team gets even league-average output from their Week 4 zero (Saquon waking up vs. Rice simply existing) probably wins this one outright. I'll lean Beav in a mild upset — Kyren Williams looked unstoppable, and if Saquon even sniffs his projection this time, Chengy's shaky bust history could repeat itself at the worst moment.

Crock vs Marcus — Week 5

Matchup Preview · Week 5 · 2026 · Oct 7, 2026

Crock is riding into this one by the skin of his teeth — a 127.8-127.7 nail-biter over Frost where Dak Prescott (23.1) and Alvin Kamara (22.8) did the heavy lifting while Christian McCaffrey chipped in 16.0. But let's talk about Garrett Wilson, projected for 17.1 and delivering a ghostly 5.7 — that's the kind of bust that turns a potential blowout into a sweat-through-your-shirt squeaker.

Marcus, meanwhile, isn't sweating anything. He put up 167.5 on Beav behind an absolute workhorse performance from Kenneth Walker III (32.9!) and Zay Flowers going off for 27.8, with Lamar Jackson (22.9) and Brock Bowers (20.6) rounding out a stacked box score. Even his "bust," Jahmyr Gibbs, still cleared 17.7 points — that's what you call a floor, folks.

History says Crock has the edge in this rivalry (1-0 head-to-head), but recent form says Marcus is playing a different sport right now. My gut — and this is just a hunch, not a lock — says Marcus's depth and that Walker/Flowers combo punch a hole clean through Crock's margin-for-error offense. Crock survived a coin-flip last week; he may need a miracle to survive a buzzsaw this week.

Meek vs Manny — Week 5

Matchup Preview · Week 5 · 2026 · Oct 7, 2026

Meek rolls into this one bruised. Last week's 129.8-144.4 gut-punch loss to Crawf had some fireworks — Tee Higgins torched the box score for 28.7 and Chuba Hubbard chipped in 27.9 — but it wasn't enough, because Ja'Marr Chase, the guy projected for 21.2, face-planted to the tune of 5.7 points. When your WR1 shows up empty-handed, you lose shootouts. Derrick Henry (15.9) and Tyler Shough (17.9) kept it respectable, but "respectable" doesn't cut checks in this league.

Manny, meanwhile, is strutting in off an absolute demolition — 224.3 points, a 103-point beatdown of Devion. Tetairoa McMillan went nuclear for 47.2, Nico Collins stacked 32.8 on top, and Joe Burrow and Bijan Robinson each dropped 29.7. Only Travis Kelce no-showed (3.5 on a 12.0 projection), and it didn't matter one bit — when four of your guys combine for that kind of damage, your tight end can take the week off.

Head-to-head history says Meek owns this series, but history isn't walking through that door this week — current form is. One side just put up a video-game score behind a receiver who nearly hit 50 fantasy points; the other side is still trying to figure out why its $1 wideout forgot how to catch. My money (purely an opinion, folks) says Manny's rolling thunder carries over and Meek needs Chase to actually show up if he wants to flip the script.

Frost vs Devion — Week 5

Matchup Preview · Week 5 · 2026 · Oct 7, 2026

Frost walks into Week 5 having lost by the cruelest margin fantasy football offers — a 127.7-127.8 nailbiter to Crock where Puka Nacua went nuclear for 29.7 and Ashton Jeanty (18.6) and Rhamondre Stevenson (18.4) both pulled their weight, but it still wasn't enough because Josh Downs no-showed with 4.6 points on a 14-point projection. That's the kind of loss that haunts a manager — so close you can still smell the what-if.

Devion, meanwhile, isn't dealing with a nailbiter hangover — he's dealing with a full-blown beatdown, dropping 121.3-224.3 to Manny in a laugher. Brock Purdy (23.6) and Spencer Shrader (17.4, yes, a kicker outscoring half your bench) tried to hold the fort, and James Cook III chipped in 16.3, but DJ Moore cratering to 2.7 on a 13.3 projection buried any hope of competing with triple-digit opponent scores.

So here's the matchup: a team that lost by a tenth of a point looking for revenge-via-recovery, against a team that just got run off the field looking to simply remember what a normal week feels like. My money (emphasis on opinion, not prophecy) says Frost's floor from Nacua and his backfield duo gives him the slight edge here — but if Devion's bust game turns around even a little, this could get spicy fast.
